Clean, young and vigorous plants, plantlets, or leaves (preferably dormant if the plant is heterophyllous are sent to our lab, chemically sterilized, and multiplied.


For the best result, please consider sending one or two whole-plants. 


After the plants have inducted, we screen factors to advise you on the best practices for their mass production. Serious inquiries only.

Our experimental methods

Toxicity Verification
Second we do a small scale set of experiments to determine whether our initial experimental constraints are well tolerated by your explant material.



Factorial design & execution
Fourth, we design your experiment parameters based on our toxicity assays and explant selection. During this phase, the critical factors for health and multiplication will be identified.

Experimental constraints
First, we search in the literature, and use our experience with Pinguicula to place the initial experimental constraints, we keep you closely in the loop for this process.



Explant selection
Third, we screen which form of explant is most suitable for mass production throughout the process of experimentation. Typically a leaf or meristem is used, but it may vary from plant to plant.


Results
Fifth, we provide the results of our factorial screening, and advise you on processes for their mass production, or offer inhouse production at discounted rates.
